Quick Paint Tray Cleanup

Small painting jobs often require the same cleanup as large jobs. You still have to clean the rollers, trays, and everything else when you’re finished.

The next time you need to do some touch-up painting around the house try this; Slip a plastic bag over your roller tray. The bag will keep the paint from getting on the tray and when you're finished you can simply throw it away. If you need to stop during the job you can also put your roller in the bag to help keep it from drying out.

There are also a number of gadgets on the market to help professional painters clean up their equipment quickly. Brushes can be quickly spun dry with a "brush spinner". Rollers can be thoroughly cleaned with an inexpensive roller washer that attaches to an outside faucet. Both of these tools are relatively inexpensive and available at most paint stores.
